India-based AI career platform Apuphi has launched with the aim of changing how job seekers present their skills and navigate the hiring process. The platform combines AI-powered career assessment, personalised career planning, job application automation and structured interview feedback.
According to an ANI report published on May 20, 2026, Apuphi had more than 6,200 candidates on its waitlist before its national launch. The platform was founded by Diwash Kapil Chhetri and Sulabh Raj Gurung and developed in West Sikkim.
AI-based career assessment
One of Apuphi’s central features is the Apuphi Score, a professional credibility score ranging from 300 to 900. The company says the score is designed to evaluate candidates beyond conventional resume information.
The assessment considers areas including core professional skills, tools and mediums, domain knowledge, collaboration and professional practice. The company says the weighting can vary depending on a candidate’s profession and career profile.
Career GPS identifies skill gaps
The platform’s Career GPS feature analyses information such as education, skills, projects and work experience to suggest potential career directions. It can also identify skill gaps and recommend courses, certifications and other development activities.
Users can track their progress as they complete the recommended activities. According to Apuphi, progress can contribute to changes in the user’s professional score.
Career Reset supports career changes
Apuphi also offers a Career Reset feature for people considering a transition into a different profession. The system is designed to identify transferable skills, highlight missing capabilities and create a roadmap for reaching a target career.
This approach is intended to support professionals making significant career changes rather than limiting the platform to people following traditional career paths.
Automating job applications
The platform includes an Auto-Apply Engine that allows users to define their target roles and preferences. The system can customise resumes for relevant positions and submit applications on behalf of candidates.
Apuphi says users can maintain an application history to track where applications have been submitted. Its Smart Job Caps feature is designed to prevent applications to positions after an employer-defined applicant limit has been reached.
AI-powered interview feedback
Another part of the platform focuses on the lack of feedback candidates often receive after interviews. Apuphi says employers using its in-platform interview system are required to complete a structured feedback process.
The platform’s AI can analyse interview performance and provide feedback on areas such as communication, responses and potential areas for improvement.
Moving beyond traditional resumes
Apuphi’s approach is based on the idea that a conventional resume provides only a limited view of a candidate’s capabilities. By combining assessments, career planning, application tools and interview feedback, the platform aims to create a more detailed professional profile.
The company says its services are intended for fresh graduates, working professionals and people changing careers, rather than being limited to a single industry.
